Description:

Shallow earthenware bowl, with slightly everted rim, is glazed and overpainted with luster. The bowl has central rosette surrounded by a kufic inscription bearing the artist's name: "Blessing to the owner/the work of Sulayman, pupil of Abu Khalidan or Khaiikan/forbearance is a virtue". It is attributed to Nishapur.
