Description:

Wooden panel from a door with vegetal decoration, in high relief, forming a calyx-shaped ornament from which spring spiralling leaves. The panel is representative of the transitional stage characterised by the bevelled technique to the next phase of which a distinctive example is the door presented by Caliph al-Hakim to the mosque of Al-Azhar in 1010.
