Description:

The embroidered cover (so called suzani), patterned by a network of offset lancet ovals, consists of three lengths of fabric, manifest in the disturbance of the pattern along the seam. The entire fabric is framed by a narrow border. Five-point crowns are placed at the intersections of the lancet ovals, in whose centre a tulip is depicted, flanked by small blue leaves.
